Category and status details: reservation category, domicile, or NRI and sponsor documentation, where relevant to your eligibility
Application details: preferred courses, colleges, quota, and academic session
Financial details: proof of funds or sponsor details where an application or authority requires them, and records of fees paid to us
Guardian details: parent or guardian name and contact information
Communication records: enquiry forms, emails, messages, and notes from counselling sessions

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website we may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This is used only to keep the website secure and functioning, and to understand which pages visitors find useful.

3.3 What We Never Ask For

We do not ask for your banking passwords, UPI PINs, OTPs, or card CVV numbers, and no employee of CKR will ever request these from you. We also do not collect or hold payments on behalf of any college. If anyone claiming to represent CKR asks you for such details, or for a payment to a personal account, please report it to us immediately on +91 97012 71237.

We do not use your information for any purpose beyond these without first asking you.

5. Confidentiality and Who We Share Your Information With

5.1 We Do Not Share Your Details with Other Agencies

Your personal details are not passed on to:

other education consultancies, sub-agents, or admission agents
marketing, advertising, or lead-generation companies
data brokers or list sellers
coaching centres, education-loan agents, travel agents, or hostel and accommodation providers, unless you specifically ask us to
any third party wishing to contact you for their own commercial purposes

We do not sell your data, trade contact lists, or forward candidate databases to anyone. We also do not recommend colleges on the basis of commissions.

5.2 Limited Disclosure Necessary to Process Your Application

To secure your admission, certain details must reach the college or authority you are applying to. We share information only:

with the specific college or colleges and counselling authority you have selected and approved, and only the documents their application process requires;
with examination bodies, or government, embassy, or visa authorities, where an application requires it and you have consented;
with banks or payment processors, strictly to process a payment or refund;
where required by law, such as under a court order, statutory notice, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.

In every case we share the minimum information necessary, and only after you have agreed to apply to that college or process.

5.3 Internal Access

Within CKR, your file is accessible only to the counsellor and administrative staff directly handling your case. All our staff are bound by confidentiality obligations and are not permitted to remove, copy, or share candidate records outside the organisation.

6. How We Protect Your Information

Physical documents are stored in secured premises with restricted access.
Digital records are kept on password-protected systems accessible only to authorised staff.
Access is granted strictly on a need-to-know basis.
Staff are instructed never to discuss or disclose candidate information outside the organisation.
We review our handling practices periodically and act promptly on any concern reported to us.

No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will notify you promptly if we become aware of any incident affecting your personal data.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

Active candidates: for the full duration of the counselling and admission process
After completion or closure: for a reasonable period thereafter, to handle follow-up queries, re-applications in a later session, refund claims, and accounting, tax, and legal record-keeping requirements
Enquiries that do not proceed: for a limited period, after which records are deleted or securely destroyed

You may ask us to delete your records at any time, and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain them.

Deletion: request that your records be deleted, subject to legal retention requirements
